About

Anika Jeyaranjan (b. 2001) is an Indian-Srilankan artist raised in New Jersey based in Chicago, IL. She incorporates fiber techniques and sustainable materials into her multimedia sculptures and installations. Drawing from her dissociative experiences, Jeyaranjan creates artwork focusing on the connections between physical bodies and the environment around them. She questions where the boundaries of the human body lie, indulging in bodily agency. She has been featured in exhibitions at SAIC, Probe Gallery, Parlour and Ramp, Rostrum 13, and more.
